Thank God for David Lynch

David Lynch is big on transcendental meditation and expanding consciousness.

His works are some of the most bizarre, graphic, disturbing images and scenarios out there. See: “Blue Velvet”, “Eraserhead”, “Lost Highway”, “Mulholland Drive”.

Yet, he is an advocate and believer in world peace and unity of mankind. How can this be? How can someone so aware of human darkness and so enthusiastic about recreating it also have hope? Again, how can this be?

He thinks that more awareness and more consciousness about humanity leads to more hope and creativity, not less. His platform seems to be the opposite of “Ignorance is Bliss”.
