Parental Pressure

Here is one of those incredibly talented children.  She is five years old, and better at dribbling a ball than most of us in our twenties.  What I worry about is all of the pressure she will recieve from her parents to constantly use and improve her skill.  Where does it cross the line for parents to push their children when it comes to sports?

  1. I think a parent should push, or better, encourage their child in their abilities so long as the child loves what they are doing. If a parent can’t be okay with their child saying “no, I don’t want to do this anymore” then they might have an issue.
I hope this little girl continues to develop her skills and still love the game.
