WTF, Wierd Scenes In Movies

I know I may be a little behind in seeing this but I recently just saw the movie “The Shinning” besides Jack Nicholson’s awesome portrayal of a total nut case and great acting this movies message just didnt appeal to me, some parts just put me to sleep, I think i prefer The Amityville Horror but this blog is not about the performance its self rather a scene in which just doesn’t make sense in the movie.

This is the point where Jack Nicholson has gone totally ape shit and has started chasing his family with that axe and has already said those two words that are synonymous with the movie “Here’s Johnnie” and his wife now is looking for Danny and stumbles across a person in a bear outfit presumably giving some oral sex to this guy in a tux, WTF?

Here is the video

Now is this scene just illustrating how maybe some of the men back then got down or was it just another WTF did i just watch moment. But this is not the only film that does this, here’s another example from other movies that made me go WTF upon seeing them.

In the movie cursed released in 2005 was about a werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults, who, after being mauled by the beast, learn they must kill their attacker if they hope to change their fate to avoid becoming werewolves too. Now it was a bad movie, that had a weak plot but the audience had the idea of this beging a horror film straight through but the director had a twist that shook everything up by adding comedy where we witness a werewolf flipping the bird.

Here is the clip

Now was the director just filling up space or trying to lighten up the mood with a little bit of comedy, or was this purposfully done for audience confussion?

That is still the scariest scene in a film I have ever seen. These are called Furries and they are sick, vile, disgusting creatures. You should be afraid. This just shows how much of a visionary Stanley Kubrick truly was during his time.

(for more info on furries go here, but I would advise against it)
